I need a solution
Hi,
I will like to check when we deploy SCSP linux agent, which firewall (SCSP host-based firewall rules OR linux IPTABLE) will be taking precedent?
If I will like to use SCSP host-based firewall rules to control the inbound and outbound rules, how can I achieve that?
Please help. Having a hard time deploying linux agent for SCSP! -_-

I am attempting to install Symantec Critical Systems Protection 5.2.9 on Server 2012 and SQL 2012 Express for a demo system.
I have already installed SQL 2012 Express on Server 2012. When I attempt to install CSP 5.2.9 I get an error saying that MDAC 2.7 or greater has to be installed.

How to Determine Agent Version
I need a solution
From what I can determine we are running agent Version V5.2.9.376 in our environment.
Does the .376 part of the version number translate to something like below. ie. MP1 or MP3 etc...?
The latest version appears to be V5.2.9 MP3.

I have Windows XP machines client machines and Windows Server 2003 as HIDS (SCSP) server.
Currenty we're having 5.1.2 version of HIDS which is receiving updates from XP client machines.
Now we're going to upgrade the HIDS to 5.2.9.
I would like to know if Windows XP machines are compatible with the latest HIDS server i.e. 5.2.9

I need a solution
Hi,
I have installed Symantec Critical System Protection on Windows server 2008 R2 and trying to install a client on one of my servers.
However, the agent is not able to communicate with the server and giving the following error message :
"Curl error:: Verify the agent certificate matches the server".
Please help on how to resolve this.

Linix agent not able to communicate with SCSP server
I need a solution
I installed SCSP 5.2.9 agent on a RHEL 5 machine. While the installation seemes to go fine, I am not seeing the AGENT on the SCSP console.
Any help or troubleshooting steps that I could try? I already checked the host name resolution both ways.

Hi ,
Is it possible to manually configure policies in SCSP 5.2.9.
We are having SCSP 5.1.2 installed on one of the servers running Windows 2003 OS.
SCSP 5.1.2 which is currently installed on the system is having some policies which are not a part of the default policies.
