I've recently installed SCSP 5.2.9 on Server 2003.
It was installed properly.
First I installed server and then console.
But after the installation, when I tried to login I'm not able to do so.
So I uninstalled everything.
But now when I'm trying to install it again, it's taking the existing database instance.
We have windows server 2008 r2 with SCSP prevention Enabled and on that server we are using SAN storage drive, whenever we create shared folder and after server restart folder unshared automatically.
I guess we need to face it. Sality is here to stay.
I have a PCI environment and am using CSP v5.2.9. I have four Linux servers running Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5,9 and 5.10 (Tikanga). We were able to install the agent (5.2.9.568) without difficulty.

I have to install Symantec SCSP agent on some 500 odd machines inside one of the ODC.
It's very harrassing to go on each machine and run the wizard.
Is there any command which can be executed from the command prompt so that the installation does not require physical intervention during the installation.
Can we automate the process through a script ?

I am trying to suppress a certain event from logging to the DB and console. I ran the event wizard and found out that this cannot be performed automatically by the wizard. I followed the Action Details that stated to edit the Prevention Parameter configuration. I created a Prevention Parameter, selected the Log Rules Tab, Add Rule, but there is no radio button "Ignore the event".

I am struggling quite a bit to find a sizing guideline for the CSP database. Ive seen articles on tempdb sizes and how to reduce the size but nothing to estimate the size of the database prior to pushing out agents. Anyone able to point me in the right direction on this?
I want monitor FTP server loging actvity and any kind of modification made should be logged. is it possible in SCSP?
On SCSP agent, there is a script named getagentinfo.bat under the installation folder. The end-user can use this script to collect the information that needed by support to troubleshoot SCSP agent issue.

Hi there...still relatively new to CSP. I thought I had this figured out, but I'm still seeing CSP block Windows KMS product activation. Event Viewer isn't logging anything as blocked though.
